Three types of soils, residual soils, kaolinite and bentonite, were used in the study. Cement and rice husk ash reduced the plasticity of residual soil, kaolin, and bentonite. A considerable reduction was attained by cementstabilised soils. In general, 68% of cement and 1015% RHA shows optimum amount to reduce plasticity of soils.
